Step 1 Career Exploration Session
Do you need help choosing a college major and learning more about your career interests? Attend a small group career exploration session and learn more about the career decision making process and how to take the online career assessments. All seminars are scheduled in room 216 Davis Hall

Step 2 STRONG INTEREST INVENTORY (STRONG)

Are you sure about your career path? The Strong Interest Inventory can help jump-start your major and career exploration. Attend a Career Planning Information session or meet with a Counselor. Then complete the Strong on the web before attending an interpretation session. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact Counseling Services 48-hours prior to your scheduled time. Otherwise, a fee of $15 will be assessed to cover the cost of the career instrument. Please be on time.Your promptness is appreciated! All seminars are scheduled in room 216 Davis Hall

Step 2) Click on one of the STRONG interpretation sessions to register for the session.  MAKE SURE TO MAKE A RECORD OF THE DATE AND TIME YOU REGISTERED FOR!. You must register at least 48 hours prior to the seminar.

MYERS-BRIGGS TYPE INDICATOR (MBTI)

Evaluate your personal preferences and personality type and learn how this affects career decisions. Attend a Career Planning Information session or meet with a Counselor. Then complete the Myers-Briggs on the web before attending an interpretation session. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact Counseling Services 48-hours prior to your scheduled time. Attention

The MBTI and Strong Interest Inventory are free to currently enrolled students. UTA students not enrolled in classes during the past academic year will be assessed a fee of $30.00 for each assessment and must arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled interpretation to pay the fee.
